Mua Cha's Single Cultivar Yabukita 100g | Organic Everyday Matcha

The everyday matcha, in the size that lasts. Same balanced Yabukita from the mist-shrouded hills of Wazuka, Kyoto - built for people who drink it daily and would rather not think about running out.

Our Yabukita matcha is exclusively sourced from a 4th-generation family tea farm run by Takashi and Teruko, who specialize intimately in tencha tea leaf cultivation and matcha powder production. By partnering directly with their family, we ensure a product that is 100% JAS Organic certified, grown with profound respect for the soil and entirely free of chemical additives or synthetic fertilizers.

Identified in Shizuoka in 1908 by Sugiyama Hikosaburo and officially registered in 1953, the Yabukita cultivar is the quintessential cornerstone of Japanese tea. Comprising roughly 67–75% of Japan's tea fields, it serves as the ultimate benchmark against which all other cultivars are measured.

Because of its organic cultivation, this Yabukita expresses a uniquely robust and earthy character: a vibrant, fresh grassy aroma, a sturdy umami foundation, and a crisp, pleasant astringency that shines through effortlessly, even when paired with milk.

Versatile and resilient. This powder's balanced astringency makes it the ultimate choice for a vibrant and refreshing, everyday matcha latte, while remaining smooth enough for a traditional, frothy Usucha.

茶農家だからこそ皆さんに言いたい---ご自分の飲んでいる抹茶はどういう風に栽培と製造されていたのかを知るべきです。
健康のために飲むその抹茶自身が健康的でないと意味がありません。
"As a tea farmer, I want to say to everyone that you should know how the matcha you drink was grown and produced.
There's no point in drinking matcha for health reasons if the tea itself isn't healthy."
